The Review

I had been out of the UK for a few weeks when I started to hear about a new CBD shop selling that was selling amazing new strains of CBD flower. That shop was Hemp Hash.

They have quickly made quite a name for themselves in the UK Cbd flower industry with their high-quality, terpene-rich buds, as well as their very affordable priced and exceptional customer service.

This company is doing everything right.

This is a review of one of the newest strains, Pineapple Express. It came in 1st place in the 2018 homegrown cup in Holland so I was more excited than usual to try it. Here goes…

Delivery and packaging: 10/10

First Class signed-for cost me just £2.11, and it turned up the next day.

The buds were inside a white aluminium-lined pouch that had been heat sealed. The pouch was tucked inside some bubble wrap. This kept the the smell in and the buds well preserved.

Aesthetics: 10/10

A perfect looking bud. A striking green in colour and just loaded with trichomes. Even the stalk has a coating of dust-like trichomes. A few orange pistils can be seen.

The structure of the bud is puffy and solid, with a bit of crunch to it. It grinds beautifully and burns well.

Smell: 10/10

Incredible. I said before that this was the best smelling CBD flower I’ve tried, but that title must now be passed to Hemp Hash’s Pineapple Express. It’s a step above and easily competes with top-shelf THC-rich cannabis.

Intensely sweet and fruity. In fact, it has a deep berry-type stench to it. Definitely one for terpene-hunters with a sweet tooth.

Taste (smoking vs vaping)

Smoking: 10/10

Sweet and smooth. You can taste he terps with ease. Tropical and fruity.

It’s clear to see why this is a cup-winning CBD flower.   

Vaping: 9/10

My first round with my V2 pro 7 released a potent cloud of fresh, minty flavour. Not what i was expecting, but I liked it.  

Second round I didn’t pack the chamber quite as much. This allowed the sweetness to come through. It tastes a bit like another incredible strain from Hemp Hash, Cookies Kush (which is on sale for £6.50 a gram!), but with slight fruity notes.

Effects: 10/10

This 10% CBD flower provided a very enjoyable, calming experience. Great for relieving anxiety.

I enjoyed this strain with friends and it induced a calm and open atmosphere in the group.

Price: 9/10

Pineapple Express is £10 for a gram and just under £30 for an eighth. About standard for such a high-quality strain.

However, Hemp Hash have some really amazing prices on other top drawer strains, going as low as £3.50 for a gram of Green Crack.  

Overall: 9.5/10
