Review: CBD Extracts From NuBotanicals

There’s a new CBD shop on the scene with some of the best CBD extracts you’re likely to try.

They are called NuBotanicals and the three extracts that they sell – Lemon Cherry Gelato, Rainbow Belts, and Blue Zushi – are, quite frankly, delicious.

This review will look at all three in detail.

First impressions

Each extract comes sealed in a small glass container with a plastic screw-on lid.

They have clear labeling (each container has 1g of extract which includes 90% broad-spectrum distillate and 10% natural terpenes) and eye-catching branding.

Upon removing the lids, the aroma jumps out and takes you by surprise. Very terpy! Taking a closer look, I can see that each extract is unique with its own consistency and slightly different shades.

However, they are all crumbly and sugar-like, consisting of different sized rocks. The Rainbow Belts is the lightest shade of amber, while the Blue Zushi is slightly darker and Lemon Cherry Gelato the darkest.

Overall, first impressions are good. The smell is strong and distinct. The extracts looks well made and pure.

Smell/Taste

I will describe the extracts in order of my favourite in terms of aroma and taste.

First up, Rainbow Belts is my number one. It smells sweet and full-bodied – but not artificial like some extracts or vape juices. It’s more of a natural sweetness you might get on a strain like Blueberry.

The flavour is the same when inhaled. Delicate and sweet without overdoing it. It leaves a glorious aftertaste on the tongue. Yum!

Next, Lemon Cherry Gelato. With this extract, the lemon/citrus notes are very pronounced, while there is also an underlying sweetness similar to the Rainbow Belts.

For those of you like limonene and citrusy flavours, this will suit you down to the ground. Again, the flavour stays true when inhaled and the result is a mouthwatering hit of terps.

Lastly, Blue Zushi. While this wasn’t my top pick, it certainly has a distinct smell and taste.

I struggled to put my finger on what that flavour is, there is a definite spiciness to it, align with subtle earthy notes. When consumed, a base layer of sweetness is also noticeable.

Overall, each extract is unique and offers a distinct flavour profile. And the strong flavours really makes the vaping experience enjoyable.

Effects

The effects of each extract were as expected – they made me feel calm, clear minded and content, which is the exact reason I use CBD.

The extracts contain 750mg CBD, along with other minor cannabinoids and of course a healthy dose of natural terpenes.

CBD extracts like these are great for anxiety, stress relief and getting to sleep easier. They can also be used for inducing focus and appetite.

The profile of the terpenes also plays a role in the effects, with the Lemon Cherry Gelato slightly more energising thanks to the terpene limonene.

Adding the extracts to joints also helped balance out the high and reduced some of the negative side effects of THC.

Uses

I primarily used the extracts either in a joint or my dry herb vape. When used in a joint, the terpenes add a punch of flavour to the experience, whilst the high CBD content counteracts any creeping anxiety I can sometimes experience from THC.

The premium quality of the extracts also makes them ideal for dabbing.

You can also use the extracts for cooking or baking as the CBD crumble can easily be dissolved into cooking oils or butters, making it the perfect option for those looking to create their very own CBD infused products.

Price

Considering the premium quality of their products, NuBotanicals offer great value for money.

Their extracts are typically priced at £19.99 per gram, but they are currently on sale for just £14.99.

The industry standard is around £20 per gram, so be sure to get in on this sale while it lasts!

Overall

Overall, NuBotanicals CBD extracts are high-quality and deliver on taste, effects, and versatility of use.

The unique flavour profiles of each extract make them stand out, and the strong terpene content enhances the overall experience.

The effects are as expected, providing a calming and clear-minded feeling, making the extracts great for anxiety and stress relief.

The price point is competitive, especially during the current sale, making them a great addition to any CBD enthusiast’s collection.

Overall, I highly recommend giving NuBotanicals CBD extracts a try.
